II The Fork — burn vs be fed

Ronaldo is too strong to rest. A Strong Wood self saturated with its own element cannot sit on what it has; it must discharge through Fire — visible output, records, relentless self-manufacture. The tell: what each man's peak decade needed

Why the narratives feel opposite

Ronaldo's story is effort — a career-long argument that will beats talent, because his chart is built to work. Messi's is grace under lack — a gift that suffered because it had no resource to lean on, redeemed only when Water finally arrived. Neither reading flatters; each chart marks decades it does not fully explain (Ronaldo's Champions-League frustration years, Messi's repeated final losses before the water came).
